I fill the vacuum between the Company
Book-keeper and their Year-end Accountant

My clients will typically employ a Book-keeper to deal with their day-to-day finances and an Accountant at the year-end to complete their tax returns and file their accounts. But in-between they have a critical need for someone who can help them to understand what is going on in their business, which parts are making money and what they need to do to make their companies more successful.

A 24/7 Finance Director at a fraction of
the cost of a full-time employee

I provide the same service as a full-time in-house Finance Director but at a fraction of the normal cost. My working routines are flexible, so that I can be available on demand for my clients when urgent issues arise. I tailor the service I provide according to each client's needs, but typically I will:

  • Develop budgets and forecasts including cashflow forecasts
  • Develop and deliver monthly management accounts - including Board Reports so that the managers of the business have full visibility of what's really going on and are able to make the best possible decisions for their businesses
  • Provide business planning
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and other benchmarks
  • Provide reports and plans to banks and other lenders of finance
  • Provide financial modelling to enable my clients to anticipate the financial impact of their plans without having to go through the pain of delivering them first
  • Develop year-end figures for submission to the Company's accountants
  • Prepare companies for sale - including supporting them right through the
    sale process
